China IS the big gorilla in the room. Let’s start with China’s enormous debt load, a “crisis that overwhelms everything that has happened on the rest of the planet,” according to John Authers at FT.  No wonder China’s stock market (the Shanghai Stock Exchange) has tumbled so much. Financial conditions in Asia have plummeted as well.  Not all is well in China. It is critical that you to factor China into your thinking.
